Monday, February 09, 2004 I couldn't sleep last night becuase I suddenly became overwhelmed with memories of Cookie. My apartment was so quiet and lonely and I couldn't believe so much time had gone by in my life without Cookie. I tried to sleep, but I couldn't because I was so sad -- I started crying -- I couldn't control it, it just happened. Then, I went to the other room, grabbed her little oak-polished-picture-frame-looking-urn and finally fell asleep...with Cookie on my bed next to me.
